Full openclaw flow setup and improvements

Openclaw flow as a setup tool is fully functional now following all the args etc on cli based on docs. Didn’t get to flesh out as much as possible but partially because i think lexis (another project of mine) sorta outshines this as a idea overall cause it can just install it for you.

Improvements!

• A lot of improvements to the website, includes full new section with CTA at bottom and scrolling section of features. Also added video in hero section.
• Fixed a lot of bugs in neurobits
• Fixed android release workflow and version bugs along with that.
• Recorded new video showcasing all new features
• Updated readme with new features and updated setup

Added 1 consequence

• Takes 5 random contacts and 5 random images and sends it if snoozed.
• Has approved list for now, although i might add a chaos mode so like it just does whatever

Improvements & fixes

• Removed like huuuge lbfeed.json and workflow and replaced with API that was finally added after like 3 weeks
• Did a lot of firefox feature fixes -> most of these were because of use of relative URLs
• Improved and fixed geometry and colors for normal theme for wrapped export.

Fixes & improvements

• I did some further edge case fixes for mlx
• This included bigger timeouts for slower internet, custom npm caches etc.
• I switched to ollama for windows cause llama.cpp was unstable and not working.
• I also added a nice download indicator progress bar during setup for the model, for user to see how it is getting along.

Flavortown wrapped

See everything together your heatmap, total cookies earned pie chart, balance trend, overall stats about shop etc in a dashboard sorta view and you can export too! Themed versions as well.

Fixes

Just a load of fixes. Uninstall removed the model caches properly now, Intel chip macs now use llama.cpp instead of MLX like they would’ve before. A lot of setup/installation bugs fixed for mac/windows, Hooking into older powershell versions, Did a lot of code refactoring to make providers as 1 source of truth to prevent start args being messed up for different providers and such.

VLLM/MLX/Llama.cpp, Website Revamp

• Ollama is now removed, and i have implemented support for MLX, vllm, llama.cpp. Llama.cpp is used for windows & linux. MLX obviously for mac, and vllm if a linux user has a nvidia gpu. This has shown considerable speed improvements in my limited testing.
• Script has been improved quite a bit, to have fallbacks for like everything, so it auto installs brew/npm/python/pip etc if you don’t have it instead of failing.
• I also removed double model review because it’s ineffective + its extra storage space for user.
• Revamped website to have a bit more soul
• Made uninstall also remove the model

Votes -> TODOs, char counter, improvements

• Votes to TODOs directly using gemini 3 flash through hackclub AI. Get a key, toss it into the popup and get TODOs directly from your votes!
• Character counter for devlogs
• For fraud squad, along with user grouping we can now approve/reject/hold all making the process more efficient.
• Theming some new elements.

Revamped website + fully functional with a lot more tweaks

• Secondary bigger model for review of “critical” risk plans
• Fully functioning web search, and lexis is now able to install tools like yarn, npm etc for user automatically.
• Install script for unix/windows now exist and work.
• Fallbacks added for when ollama daemon isnt running, and auto ollama install/serve etc.
• Help command added along with exit for unhooking lexis from just that terminal, and uninstall for removing completely.
• Made some improvements overall with parsing and system prompt
• Added support for users who dont want every terminal to be hooked on by lexis, so they can use it like lx command
• Changed website to talk to your terminal i think fits better, put install scripts into it, updated the showcase part.

The CLI!

• so i worked on install scripts, they’re functional with recommendation of light/balanced/heavy models, setup of web search MCP etc.
• The auto-attach into every terminal is also functional along with the run of them as well.
• Web search works, but system prompt doesnt enforce it much so it’s still WIP.
• Currently models are base qwen-coder not finetuned or such, i am not sure if it is worth doing i’ll run some evals.
• It is also a bit slow about 4s for a normal query, and about 15-20s for a tool install, so i want to optimize further.

The website!

Worked on the website, went for a swiss minimalist sorta style. I think it looks great. Now to work upon the model itself, i gotta figure out a bunch of things like base model, dataset to specialize, set it up with the script, give it web search mcp so you can say things like setup hackatime.

Improvements to Exam Mode & features.

Huge devlog, 2nd biggest LOL. I think i’m satisfied with the whole exam feature so ill commit now and ill work on improving the catalog since currently its GCSE only, i’ll add a few popular ones like SATs, A levels, IIT etc

• Better mix of questions in exam quizzes, GCSE-style questions are more strictly enforced and the proportion is similarly matched, before there were too many MCQs for example.
• Realistic marking, tighter mark-scheme based scoring, better partial-credit handling, and improved acceptable answers as a option
• Assisted answer improvements, better answer composition and review behavior
• Review/Summary is a lot cleaner with better marking explanations etc
• Subject and exam reports have been made like A LOT better. Clear Progression, improved the UI and overall clean.
• Timetable + planning is now fully functional with multiple options. Manual input, OCR, editable grid, auto generated revision windows adapted to habits with overlap detection

Partial refactoring? and fixes

See i started refactoring/modularization but then i kinda messed up a lot of the features and got too bored. so i kinda just undid everything…. I’ll manage better with my 25k line spaghetti

Raycast revamp and support for blessings/curses and improvements

• Command palette fully revamped with a better GUI, a lot more commands, and inline stuff sorta like raycast. For example search users, search projects, compare users and projects, See the heatmap, etc.
• Support for blessings and curses in predicted cookies adding 20% and removing 50%.
• Added undevlogged time counting in the total project stats as well.
• Did some fixes and theming otherwise.

Exam mode, and improvements

So i think it’s been too much time without a devlog so I should probably do one, I’ve been working on a full exam specialized mode, It’s still WIP but quite a lot already done.
For now it only supports GCSEs, will add more when whole platform is ready.

• Added Exam Mode onboarding: exam target selection, year group, mock date + final exam date, weekly study capacity (minutes + sessions).
• Added exam-focused quiz behavior: which was a full baseline diagnostic flow, exam-style question generation, assisted long-answer structure (Point / Which means / Explain)
• Added Exam dashboard with today plan generation which uses past topics based on forgetfulness curve and overall weak topics, and subjects.
• Added subject dashboards + reports - with curriculum breakdown, personalized feedback etc.
• AI marks with the mark scheme improving the scoring system to be more realistic like the exam with partial mark support per question
• Mark scheme is also referred in the summaries to show the marking and reasons

Improvements & bug fixes

• Did some admin related improvements, with shop order grouping.
• 2 different voting scales had lots of bugs like wrong estimation, difference in project stats, edge cases like a vote being invalidated after payout so it doesnt count as 12 votes therefore my code didnt take it as new scale but yeah. Fixed all of that.
• Fixed project banner stats being different from project ship stats.

The TUI!

So, been quite a while since i worked on this project but im back baby. I worked on a TUI for this, First time working on a TUI. I used blessed which was a nice experience. I got a shimmer and nice intro animation effect with a starry sorta bg, and then a simple openclaw setup flow, with more UI/UX improvements to the flow to make in future and more support for selfhosting tools.

First devlog!
This is going to be a crazy alarm app, As of right now it is a neobrutalist with dark & red accent alarm app, just normal stuff notification etc.
I first chose react native but then switched to flutter because im more familiar and native just felt more meh.

Statistics for lottery, UI improvements and theming

• Added statistics for lottery based on the new API so see your chance at winning
• Moved the recently added section below goals and made it into a collapsible accordion
• Themed the new not authorized section
• and fixes for some other small styling bugs.

Devlog drafts and fix

• Devlog drafts! now if you’re doing longer devlogs / leave something and come back to it later you won’t fully forget what you did + it just saves you time too.
• Estimation was using old scale for projects that weren’t yours even on new ships, so fixed that.

Sorting & further improvements

• Fixed heatmap sizing so it doesnt get clipped
• fixed chart animating on hover every time, and now its on click, also improved the animation and tooltip positioning, so its not like really far away and also tooltip now wraps around all the text so it doesnt go out.
• Some more theming on flavortime announcement etc.
• Project sorting, most time, least time, most cookies/h, most devlogs etc.
• A out of stock toggle for the shop to disable those
• Fixed dropdown labels not appearing in themes unless hovered

Improvements!

• The new scale code now does not estimate on like <12 votes leading to inaccuracy, and should be better now.
• The kitchen stats used to get inflated total earned & spent because of a refund, so if item bought & then refunded, it inflates both stats by the cookie amount so now this is handled and doesnt do that anymore.

• Some admin improvements were done, like report sorting and updated deduction calculator

Reports, lot of question types & improvements

wow this was kinda long anyway here’s everything i added:

• Reports (monthly, weekly, daily) to see progression, improvement statistics, etc.
• Added Chart support so now you can get visual questions, based on chart data and all types of chart pie charts, bar charts, candlestick charts, line charts, etc.

• Huge UI revamp for learning paths, more focused on the path, you see next up for the bottom 2 days, you see today’s challenges as the main focus of the screen, general recommendations are removed, and overall more structured UI.
• Improved options on learning path, for example you finish today’s challenges, if you’re into the course, then you can maybe finish topics from previous days that were unfinished, if not, it lets you skip to tommorow’s topics as a early start, further improving paths.
• Improved AI prompts for explain and session summary, now its more structured and actually insightful, with what you did well, what to focus on, and overall, and explain showing why your answer was wrong, why correct answer is correct, and common trap.
• Path topics are now taken into context for recommendations, recommendations have caching, so only when new path or quiz has been done, they change otherwise its the same.
• Added avatars & username to dashboard & onboarding, like facehash but in flutter.

Migration successful! and other improvements

• I successfully migrated from supabase to convex, added new login/signup screens and new forgot password flow, the forgot password UI is questionable though (from firebase side)

Landing page

Worked on making a landing page, logo marquee, footer etc. Going to now make specialized setup flows for all the tools going to start with openclaw, i want this to make selfhosting tools really easy and i wil try to support a lot of the popular tools.

Custom theme improvements

Custom themes were a bit outdated and pretty broken. But now thats fixed, they’re more customizable, and work properly everywhere.

But now https://github.com/dickermoshe/convex-dart I’ve found a better way to use convex in flutter so i’m going to switch, this will allow me for easy realtime stuff, like friend challenges etc and overall be a better db than supabase

• Annotate/crop/edit your devlog attachments, right in flavortown, reduces friction and saves time of using other tools, and you get a better image!
• Theres lines, arrows, curved arrows, rectangle, ellipse, text, cropping. You can use any color, any font on google fonts for the text, and roughness adds a bit of a sketchy feel to the annotations.

• The extension now scans your github, to find potential repo’s for your projects and suggests to add, if it finds a website in the gh repo, it suggests to add that too. This is done for projects without repo or demo currently linked, or during the new project form.

Tutorial! who knew it’d take that long.
Anyway, a tutorial to guide you through all the major features in ft utils, spotlights, handles cases for example you dont have any goals it auto adds to show, also efficiency if you already have a theme selected and sidebar pinned it skips those steps, it background scans projects for showing you the inline devlog form, etc.

Also fixed readability on the 2 dropdowns in shop. also for flavortown vote feedback i fixed the change detection because the timestamp changed so it used to commit everytime & also fixed the workflow to have permissions to commit & run hourly.

Now, you can stylize your devlog attachments with ease using shots.so, and no need to import/export pictures as flavortown utils already handles that!

• Achievements page has more statistics such as % complete, and x potential cookies remaining
• Sidebar pinned now has the full overlay on the active instead of it being cropped
• Kitchen now integrates the achievements and leaderboard stats.

Doomscroll devlogs

Buffet, you can now doomscroll devlogs on the explore page, and like/comment/follow/report from the same doomscroll UI along with infinite loading, have fun.

The preview was kinda hard tbh

The cumulative progress changing instantly is now a thing after order change, before it didnt work, needed a refresh. Also fixed a lot of theme stuff, like fixing inconsitencies across the 3 themes, fixing the user section in navbar for ocean theme, making the profile page, not feel so blocky with themes, themed the orders section, and some other things.

Added cumulative goals progress so like the progress bar goes 1 by 1 instead of being invidual, also improvements to the themes, and i made the kitchen statistics also improved

I improved theming on multiple places like api docs, extensions text etc. also setup tracking for the extensions tab, and now you guys have textures everywhere not plain bg’s anymore!

Improved goals UI, looked too messy, so this better layout + priority goals + profit?

mainly added achievement auto-claim, the extension auto claims achievements for you, removing the hassle. also started work on a better goals UI, too messy

I made goals a lot better, with supporting accessories to be added in goals, and quantity, delete directly from the my goals section, in each shop card now too, if the item has accessories you can see them instead of having to go to the order page to see them. I also had another project voting sighting, so themed a few more things on that.

Worked on readme, privacy policy, images for feature showcase/chrome webstore etc, added theming to voting elements however couldnt test it cause it went away, and some firefox manifest stuff etc.

Themes! custom theme, catpuccin theme, oceanic theme. Custom is almost every color customizable, to make a theme that you like, catpuccin mauve is tuned and themes every part of the site :) oceanic is just blue, and gives sea vibes maybe because i like blue i made it?

Made the goals system better, and also now pasting is already in the platform so removed that code, made a readme, cleaned up some code,

So, i hid the like shop tutorial and not order free stickers but appr you can’t order anything else without ordering free stickers so uh. I setup the github workflow release along w the 2 manifests (chrome/firefox) too. also made the devlog attachment/image pastable so you don’t have to save the screenshot every time.
