cosmic desktop enviroment but WEB BASED!?!?
you should be able to login without a password

This project uses AI

I used ai for some things like helping with fixing minor bugs but 95% is done by me (and some code from the interwebs hehehe)

Tom

Today i worked on creating the spotify player which currently has only one song that is able to play, and im not planning to change that. The ui already took me long enough and i don’t feel like improving spotify itself. I added some new icons and images for the app and it works fine the song plays and pauses! If any of you have app ideas please leave them in the comments im starting to run out!!!

when are you gonna post demo

Tom

Welcome to my new devlog! Yesterday after last update i added automatic language recognition using the highlight js library, but it only works if you’ve typed more than 10 characters. I had to rewrite the monaco editor code and change it up to get this working but it works with the following languages!

  • C++
  • Python
  • Javascript
  • C#

after that i created a way for you to drag, open, and close windows using the drag tutorial from w3schools and changing it up a bit for it to work with multiple windows

Heres what i did TODAY

Today i recreated the dragging system so users can drag MULTIPLE windows and you can now also Open, close, and minimize the windows which worked at first but when i tried doing it with multiple windows it was super annoying. After some time i did get it working though! I also created a working terminal app with currently only two commands but im adding more after posting this

CRAZYYY GOOOD!!!!! LOVE IT

Tom

I worked on the main ui. Now when you log in a smooth animation appears and you’re inside of the desktop. with a beautiful taskbar on the top and an app dock with images on the bottom. Now when you open it you can also see a texteditor open which is made using the monaco editor from visual studio code!
