I built this robot dog in CAD. Getting the correct torque was a hard decision I had to make, balancing performance, durability and cost effectiveness. I am proud of how the robot turned out and that it actually looks professional.

Added structural supports, its going to be taking a lot of weight, factored in everywhere i will be placing my electronics. Ready to print!

Added a sideways angle that increases stability and I tried adding feet to the legs. also completed full assembly.

I mounted the servo with heat set inserts and screws also feel free to check my CAD!

Made mounting for both the leg joints. also made the servo horn by myself (there is also a heat set insert underneath the screws). Started working on cable management for the elbow servo (notch you see above the elbow servo.)

I realized that 10 Kg servos are way too weak and neiche so i added the 20 kg servo to the elbows.

Later changed to 40kg/cm servos but the servo size remained the same luckily!

I added the legs for the other sides and made their respective servo Casings.

I started making the frame for the robot. Currently made the casing for the sevo, ensuring airflow

I made the legs and added the servos. (I did some math for the servo size that I needed) I dont know if it will be added to my time, I spent 1 hr on it. I finally settled with 20kg servos.
