My friend made a website to show off my model and animations. I’m proud of the quality of the model but I am a little disappointed with how the last score went because it didn’t count all the hours I put in. I submitted it only to get rejected and then spent 5 hours getting it formatted and resubmitted it without said hours counting for some reason. So now I resubmit a 3rd time with a proper read me and an updated dev log.

I uh got a website from a friend to add the models and stuff to so yall can now visit it. Read me has been updated. Also sorry about the limited dev logs I only started to publish once I realized I couldn’t combine the hours of this project with the one it was for (being a scrapped game) so the start couldn’t of been shown. I also didn’t really like to do dev logs so I didn’t do a lot. So here are some early designs. The backstory of how why I made these is that I was making a game with a friend (Which the first design was for) which I didn’t like so I made some more and for a game I was making because he was extremely lazy. The game ended up not finished either but I made more progress then him which is what counts.

I got 3 stances (high, mid, low) a walk and run in all directions in mid stance (will add other stances later for walk and run) I got a sprint. jump. dodge. 4 attacks for the mid stance, 1 for low, and 2 for high (will add more later) I got Idle too

Made a new model for character with 3 attack animations and a idle (unfinished needs all animations)
Added inventory system where it shows item levels and quantity’s (unfinished needs a scrolling feature, items need to do something. swapping weapon needs to change the model and attacks, and there are no items to pick up so far.)
Added saving (Decently finished so will just add variables for what I need as I go on)
Made a scene for the character to interact with (need to add to game and make it more optimized for the game)
Goals for next Devlog: Add interactable items, finish animations for the sword, import the new model in game. make a axe or some other weapon type, make it so combos are able to work.
EST on next Devlog: a week or 2.

So due to the fact that when I was making the first enemy I both forgot there were going to be other enemies and also didn’t know what subclasses were so over the course of 40 minutes I made a subclass to my character manager that would affect the enemy attack behavior while still allowing my player to lock on to any enemy with the character manager class. Also yesterday I made a new character design. Also I dunno how to keep the demo up cuz I’m using a temporary file transfer system and for the repo I deleted some files in it so that it would fit into github so I dunno if that works either :3
