Progress, [Dear god I’m so bad at devlogging compared to Summer of Making]

Additions:

  • Added ring select secrets, getting a rarity greater than 100 will create a message in this server.
  • Increased the number of loading screen tips from 30 -> 100!
  • Updates to the inner lobby
  • Fully added badge recount within the data sub-menu
  • Added Healing Coil (R 199) and Speed Coil gamepasses (R 299)
  • Added a colourblind difficulty indicator in the accessibility section of the settings
  • Added no hit mode, I pray for those who will actually use this. Added “Reset on death” alongside this
  • Added a music visualizer!
  • Various minor settings
  • Added Tower of Slime You Out [ToSYO]
  • Menu open and close is now seamless
  • Added little difficulty particle emitters under each tower in the ring select
  • Slightly modified the music toggle button

Fixes / Changes:

  • In the Ring Select UI, slower squares will be at the back while faster ones go to the front
  • Hard capped Square generation to 60/s for real this time
  • Optimized Square deletion
  • Fixed skill level marker on the difficulty chart updating its position incorrectly
  • Adjusted lobby
  • Patched some collisions to MToBVC’s portal room entrance
  • Due to ToCA missing components and Malstro no longer being in the server, I went in and fixed it up with some button re-routing. It’s definitely different from what the original was, but the tower is now playable again!
  • Cut VM’s Price in half
  • Fixed various bugs in the completions menu
  • Patched one possible softlock in ToIDLY
  • Info bubble in the menu can now appear below the mouse cursor when appearing near the top of the screen

Added the reproduction mechanic, it is currently set to exactly six members. This means the base game is complete, I shall from here on add customization and programming features.

(I wonder what contraptions you can make with this thing)

Added underpopulation and overpopulation mechanics. Currently underpopulation is set at three or less neighbours, overpopulation is set at ten or more neighbours. All living cells check neighbours and THEN their next state is decided. Also added a skybox.
