I love how it’s looking so far, I will definitely expand more on it later but I’m happy with it so far. I’m using Preact for the interactive islands and astro for the rest of the website. Implementing the background shader was hard. So yeah, I hope you enjoy the songs in the music player

I’m happy with how the website turned out! The actual ysws probably won’t happen for a while but if it ever does, the website is there. Working with airtable was such a pain, so I built an Airtable “ORM” that made it much more easier and I’m pretty proud of that.

replaced the photos with a sticker component that can be dragged around and supports gifs!

i made a tiny about window that automatically opens when the tutorial is over. i made the initial design in framer and moved it over when i felt like it was ready

I made the music player show the yt video for the song as the background and replaced the placeholder songs with actual ones! I also added a palette picker to the tutorial allowing users to change the background to something they like

add a skip tutorial button
also you shoudln’t make a personal website so complex that you need a tutorial to not get lost
there’s a skip button already! it’s shown when first starting out
the website isn’t really complex i just wanted to make a tiny tutorial for it :)
