I love how it’s looking so far, I will definitely expand more on it later but I’m happy with it so far. I’m using Preact for the interactive islands and astro for the rest of the website. Implementing the background shader was hard. So yeah, I hope you enjoy the songs in the music player yay

I kinda forgot to devlog… Okay here we go,
I worked on

  • Fixing some nasty bugs
  • Optimizing the background shader for low-end devices
  • A search button
  • And significantly improved the mobile ux
The mobile version of the website used to be really bad but it now features actual fully working windows, a hamburger menu (yummy tw_yum ) and better performance.

I made the music player show the yt video for the song as the background and replaced the placeholder songs with actual ones! I also added a palette picker to the tutorial allowing users to change the background to something they like
