I’m making from 0 unity experience to my best abilities. My goal is to create a rougelike that is both playable and fun.

Added a leveling system with xp and fixed some rounding errors, speed is the new meta, will nerf next update. Also will make it so the game stops when you get the cards, just dont know how to do that, again I really am bad with unity so please understand that the code may not be perfect, but its mine.

Ok guys so, Huge update actually, its 6:15 in the morning but I just had to finish this, yes I didnt sleep, I’m actually enojying coding. Now, I added a wave system so the game is an actual game. I added better health and an invincibility timer, And small changes in performance. I hope you all can enjoy this when it’s ready because Im really happy with how I’m doing! (also ignore that when I kill the little guys the text changes that was a dumb error I fixed it immediately after recording)
So, pretty substantial update since last time (I think), I added the healthbar that I promised to add last time, the main menu and the lose screen, debugged some things. Now, what I should do is make the damaging system better so any comments on how to make the damage seem fair let me know. Also I plan to add waves, which I dont really know how I will tackle right now but I’ll figure something out. See you next devlog!

Started trying to learn UI for the healthbar, ended up making the menu screen first. Not the best but I’m no artist, trying to get them working right now.

Added camara movement (can’t really be seen on the video, trust me, its there). Enemy takes damage and gives you an indicator. I aim to add a leveling system and a wave system so you can actually play the game (as well as health for the player obviously)
I’ve already started the project beforehand as a way to get familiar with unity’s environment, still, I am not really ready for anything impressive
