A man has died! Figure out who killed him. Written in python.

This project uses AI

Used chatgpt to debug, and used it for scientifically accurate data for medical record/autopsy. Used it for slight guidance to make sure it wasn’t too easy, but all code and responses are mine.

Shipped this project!

This is quite a rushed project, and I got burnt out. I mean 8 hours in a couple of days is some insane work, but I wanted to do the Haunted sidequest and start gambling on mystery boxes brilliant-move tw_money_mouth_face tw_money_mouth_face tw_money_mouth_face. All jokes aside, the code is pretty ahh. If statements of doom and despair, especially on the interrogation. wiltedrose But I did it for you guys to enjoy! brilliant-move carhappy I wanted this game to be more than just a quick choose and it leads you through something. I could’ve easily just make the interrogation a set line, but I gave you guys the option to choose between questions.

Have fun, and remember, it may be the one you least suspect…sussy

And with that ladies and gentlemen, we finish out Flavortown off strong. Added a few things like minimum investigations before interrogation, and minimum interrogations before arrest. I also added the arrest and explanation for who wants it, but I’ll blur those out so I dont spoil it. Have fun ms-detective

Finished the cook interrogation. These are taking way longer than I expected, I’m not really sure why. I guess because of the braches, but the code isn’t too long. Maybe it’s just creating valid questions. 2 more remaining!

Oh my dear god, I’m reverting back to the monoliths of if statements. But this is for the interrogation, so you can ask multiple questions, So it’s like the below if that makes any sense. I also added a thing where if you find certain evidence, you unlock a question. Also you can only interrogate a person one time, so you dont go through all possibilities. I also had to add a couple while loops in case of incorrect answers, but eventually we got it, and we only need to do this 3 more times depressedrat

Just a few quick updates:

  1. Added so you have to look at the victim first before you can investigate
  2. minor structure updates so the code is better
