Hello everyone, I built Kernel Bit Life for the kernel sidequest. This is my first game built in vs code. This uses inputs while loops and many more python features. I have made this type of game before so the logic was not to hard to write, but now I made a more complex one and the next time I make this type of project I will be ready to take it to the next steps. I hope you guys enjoy this game that is playable in the terminal using keyboard inputs such as different keys. Good luck!
Hello everyone! I started working on Kernel Bit Life today for the Kernel sidequest, and honestly it was pretty easy. I’ve made something like this before, so the logic wasn’t too hard, but I haven’t used Python in a while, so this was like getting back to it and using in after a year or 2.
The whole thing is basically inputs, random events, and lists of items that the game pulls from using random functions. Simple idea, but it came together nicely. I even exported it into a full .exe today using cmd (command), added a custom window title, and got everything running as an actual working game, im not proud about the time i spent and how simple i made it but this is what i did.
