AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I created the print files for the stands, and its 5.5 hours
and I NEED to print 12 of these.
. But asides from that, I created more plaques, of which I will blur out the names due to confidentiality.

Right, so since I have the 3d model ready, went onto the next step which is creating the plaque design. This is all done in Illustrator, very simple, just some text and a quick Canada flag and an Albertan flag. My name is the first plaque, and will be the only shown in full because confidentiality of the other people I’m making this for. Therefore, for all the other designs, you will see their names blurred out.

Since the top and bottom need to fit into each other, I created holes in both structures so they can fit via connectors. I also added a hole in the bottom structure so the flag can rest in that small hole. The top structure only has 3 holes, because on the side that doesn’t have the hole is where the plaque will reside, and creating a hole means that it will intrude the area of the plaque, so i didn’t add a hole there.

Started creating the base that will hold the engraved plaque and hold the flag. Messed up with one of the corners, so that delayed me unfortunately. I have a 3mm deep hold for the plaque because thats the thickness of the wood that I’m going to engrave, and theres a hole at the top because the flag needs to go through to the bottom. The top and bottom are separated so its easier to fit all 12 stands on a bag because I need to transport this over air. The two separate parts make for easier spacial arrangement.
