Polish the UI of Wordie

Widget

Widget data syncing finally works, perfectly. Spent like 2 hours reading the Apple dev docs, but worth it, cuz finally bridged the gap between the main app and the widget.

The hardest part isn’t the UI, is getting the app and the widget extension to actually talk to each other. becuz they are in separate sandboxes (i hate dat)

added apple watch support, sync works perfectly now

Fixed markdown reader support for lines with 4 or more hashtag format

optimised UI for iPad, fixed the UI crash of settings view, and added menu bar support

Remade the focus timer

the watchOS app, a sketch only, syncing is not working yet

fixed markdown reader formatting as apple’s native markdown isn’t fully supported some md format

REMOVED ask AI button in word details

worked on some suggestions by @The-Wolf ,
-fixed zooming slide bar overlap
-stop playing definition or text to speech after leaving the word details page

To be fixed: for vocab with 2 or more word, it only fetches the first word’s definition

enhanced chat UI,
and added markdown support in reader of terms of service and privacy policy, still fixing some bugs

Revised settings page, added icons and hack club ai as a option of provider

Added more notification template, to be more fun

updated About section, privacy policy and terms of service now fetches from web and not longer being hard coded

Just added apple foundation model framework for device which supports app intelligence!

Just added a build version for development, when click Run in xcode, it generate a new build number and build date automatically. though it’s for developent, it can still be useful when user got a bug and dev can check and fix it more easily.

just added a graph of AI usage and the Add user button is finally working!

Fixed some bugs in api dashboard. Usage limit now works with the client (app) , but Avg Tokens/Req still need more fix.

just finished about 70% of the admin dashboard panel for the WordGarden AI API with cloudflare AI workers, you can check the code https://github.com/alexlam0206/api/ , and to learn how i integrated firebase user UID with cloudflare token exchanging for quota limit of AI request, Although the limit setting is still in progress.
