My portfolio website
Used ai for learning and fixing some small bugs. Did not copy paste code.
Also used ai for readme for a different project which I used as baseline for this one.

I made a personal portfolio website that displays my projects, story, skillset, devlogs and more. In this update I added a lot of hover effects, made the color palette more consistent and the website more visually appealing. I also added support for multiple images on the devlogs and improved readability. No massive changes, but a lot of small also important changes. I hope you like it.
Anyways that was it for this update, info about the original ship ↓.
I made a portfolio website about me, my story and my projects. So basically I have a short story about me on the homepage and when you click more or go to “about” you can read my whole coding story. I made a projects page where you can see what projects I made and take a look at them. I also added readmes on website and a link to the repo ofc. So yeah thats my website. Also on the background I have been working a bit on the devlog system and I will definitely release that later but for now my website is done and I can rest :). Oh yeah, did anyone mention cute cat picture?
Thank you for reading, hope you like my website :P.
Will keep on updating later…

Yoo everyone,
Update on my progress. Today I worked more on reworking my ui and making it better, as my feedback suggested I needed to do so. I improved the consistency of the color palette over devlogs, project tiles and buttons. I improved readability on project page and really importantly added the ability to click through images if there is multiple in a single devlog like this one. I also added hover effects over a lot of pages to increase attractiveness and fixed the images on devlogs not loading on some devices. Changelog ↓

Yoo everyone,
Quick update on my progress. Today I worked on reworking my ui and making it better, as my feedback suggested I needed to do so. This is not the final version, I will rework it a bit more but for now I already updated the background color and changed some colors to make the palette more consistent. I also updated the project tiles to look more clean and simple and include some data about the amount of devlogs. I am also working on improving the devlogs on homepage with a button to toggle them on and off. So yeah not crazy changes, but really important for visual attractiveness. Changelog ↓

Hey yall,
I have finished my project for my third ship already. Time goes fast, So I worked a lot on my devlog system as I wanted it to be a bit like flavortowns but also using the astro content collection system to try to learn a bit about that. So I made a schema where I put data like images and project tags and stuff like that and then the text under there which is renderred on the project page. It was kind of a pain to add the content collection system as default loader didnt work, but also good to challenge myself and learn more. I didn’t implement a full on site posting feature yet, but am planning on adding that soon. I also want to make a liking and commenting system but I didnt decide fully how to yet so also thats coming soon. I also fixed a really annoying bug with the blobs background growing randomly on bigger pages and also it going over some on-page content sometimes. It took some time to fix but did work altogether so I am really happy about that.
Anyways that was it for this update, info about the original ship ↓.

but with the help of some tutorials and astro documentation I got it to finally work. I also had a bug with the background going over page content and I tried for an hour to fix it even chatgpt didnt know lol, but I finally figured it out so I am happy But it works now so I am happy. Changelog ↓ also I am reshipping quickly for LockIn :p

Hey yall,
I have finished my project for my second ship. So here is a quick explanation what I updated and under that also what I made first. Since the last time I updated a lot. I read all the feedback I received also the low quality slop sadly so I hope less of that comes this time around. Anyways I fully revamped the home page and made it a lot more personal and original. I added buttons to see what tools I use. I made it so my name has a different color every time. I fixed the background, made a 404 page. I also made every page mobile and other screen sizes friendly and made lists not go off page. I also fixed a lot of the text that was hard to read in 1.0. And most importantly I learned a lot. I think one of the hardest things was setting up the system where you can see what tools I use and the custom name color because I used JS for that and I HATE JS
. Also a lot of the placement mostly on about me was fully fucked so that was annoying to fix but it worked out. And I am happy with how it turned out so I hope you are too. Anyways that was it for this update, info about the original ship ↓.

Yoo everyone,
Quick update on my progress. Today I continued making the website mobile and multiple screen size friendly. With that comes the about me, 404, project and per project pages ofcourse. I had to fully rework the about me page for it to work but I think it looks better overall. On pc aswel. It was kind of hard sometimes to get the things in the right place on every screen, so luckily ai helped a little bit there. But it works now so I am happy. Changelog ↓ also I am reshipping soon for LockIn :p
Im also updating the demo deployment at Pepinoportfolio.vercel.app so check that out if you wish.

Wassup readers,
Quick update on my progress. Today I tried to make the whole website work on mobile and multiple screen sizes. Home page works now on mobile and reworked project page a bit too to fit better. I am working on the about me page too but that one is really hard so it will take some more time. Also changelog really short but still made one ↓.
Any device compat coming soon.

Hey yall,
I have been trying to figure out the devlog system but it is a pain. Astro documentation on content collection is from multiple versions and tutorial is hella old. Anyways I made a new icon for in the header and as the favicon inspired by hackclub ysws logos :D.
I also worked on putting devlogs on project pages, I got it to work finally. And I also made the images on project page work on public releases… I think, I didnt publish it yet tho. Anyways I am also trying to figure out the color theme I want to go with. Probably something purple Like I have now but I am not sure yet
Also changelog ↓.
Thank you for reading, hope you like my progress :P.

Hello everyone,
For the past few days I mostly started actually coding myself without relying too much on learning from documentation or from ai. Did use tailwind documentation for a few classes that I didnt learn yet and for some things that I couldnt get to work.
I worked on improving the projects screen and I also made a start on the modular system for per-project pages where you can type some things, place photos and more. Now I will be going to work on making devlogs a feature on my own website (for when flavortown ends) and putting the readme, repo and maybe a demo on the website
Also changelog ↓.
Thank you for reading, hope you like reading about what I do.

Hello everyone,
For the past few days I mostly learned about tailwind classes and more basic html and css things. . It was kind of hard to figure out some things but I like how its looks up untill now. I used a lot of ai to try to learn stuff like asking it what classes i should use or how some things work. Did not ask it to code things tho. Also tailwind doc has been really helpful.
I worked on a working background this time and made a start on the project tiles for my projects page. I made them fully modular so I can easily add more. I also want to make me able to add them on the website itself with some sort of login system, haven’t fully thought that out tho. Anyways that was it for today. Also changelog ↓.
Thank you for reading, hope you like my progress.

Hello everyone,
Today I mostly tried to learn a lot of random stuff because I don’t really know how Astro works yet, and I also did not know where to start. It was kind of hard to figure out some things but it worked out so yeah that’s cool. I used a lot of ai to try to learn stuff. Not directly copy pasting stuff tho as that’s not fun. Also Astro documentation has been really helpful lowk :P.
I made a navbar and working on background and project tiles for on project page so yeah. That was it for today. Also changelog ↓.
Thank you for reading
