Updated Project: The game has had a lot of success, so I have updated multiple features (described in my devlog) to make sure the game stays relevant.
How Well Do You Know Your Bestie is an interactive Roblox quiz game. Two players play the game; Player A answers questions about themselves, and Player B guesses what Player A answered. At the end, you can see how many questions Player B got correct.

This project uses AI

I used Claude for debugging and making descriptive comments. I used Copilot for autocompletions. I also used ChatGPT to help with the thumbnail and a few graphics.

In this ship the main system I built was an experience system. Basically everytime the user completes a quiz or logs in daily, they get XP. They can use the XP to buy avatar decorations. The hardest part of this ship was getting the avatar decorations to sync across all players’ devices.

I implemented a new XP (experience points) system to make the app more engaging and rewarding for users. This system tracks user progress and provides a sense of achievement as they complete activities, helping to encourage continued use and interaction.

Secondly, I created several new quizzes to expand the game’s content and provide more opportunities for retention.

I also made a range of UI improvements to enhance the overall look and feel of the app. These changes focus on cleaner layouts, improved consistency across all the menus, and a more modern design, resulting in a more enjoyable user experience.
