Anclagon is an interactive web-based mystery investigation project where players explore the disappearance of a renowned artist. The experience is designed like a digital detective interface where users navigate between investigation locations such as the art gallery, crime scene, suspect profiles, and CCTV surveillance feeds.
The project is built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and focuses on environmental storytelling and interactive clues. Players can inspect objects, click hidden hitboxes to reveal evidence, and analyze information connected to different suspects.
The interface uses a dark detective aesthetic with vintage-style UI, custom fonts, and glow effects to create an immersive investigation atmosphere. The entire project, including coding, design, and story development, is being developed by me as a solo developer.

Update Log

  • I built a full suspect system now. You can select people, see their profile, and track suspicion levels.
  • Added a suspicion meter that changes based on how likely someone is involved. High suspicion turns red.
  • Made a contradiction system. If an alibi doesn’t match, it gets marked and crossed out. Looks clean.
  • Added a timeline view to see where each suspect was during the crime. Helps connect things better.
  • Started locking some parts so they unlock as you progress.
  • Built a full CCTV system with interactive areas. You can hover and click different objects like door, phone, vault etc.
  • Added glow effects and animations to make interactions feel real, not flat.
  • Organized everything into proper pages so it actually feels like a game now instead of random screens.

Next:

  • connect clues properly
  • make deductions matter more
  • maybe add final accusation system
