so i started building this add free prayer itme app last ramadan, most apps out there are there to make money and are filled with ads. it didnt sit right with me so i built my own app. it now has more that 400 monthly active users from Qatar. most of the changes were suggested by users and from my r/qatar reddit post that got over 100 upvotes. really proud to help my community this ramadan!
-Added widget for iOS 2 sizes with both light and dark theme also making sure it updates promptly on change of location(from reddit r/qatar request)
-Added remote push notification to ask users ot update the app when prayer time is updated at the end of year or for new features or Eid Mubark wishes etc
-Added iqama timing(mosique prayer time starting) reminder notif and also countdown in app(from reddit r/qatar request)
-Added onboarding screens so users can learn more about the features of the app on first launch in both English and Arabic languages
-Fixed a lot of small bugs causing slightly wrong timings or as such and many edge cases earlier missed
