I built this project because I wanted a dashboard that feels fun to use, not just functional. Watching live system stats update in a retro terminal-style UI was super satisfying, and slowly seeing everything come together was honestly one of the best parts.

The hardest challenge for me was the Tailscale toggle switch switching between local network access and VPN access sounds simple, but getting it to work cleanly without breaking links took way more trial and error than I expected . There were a few “why is this not working?” moments, but figuring it out was really satasfying ( The toggle bar could be better).

In the end, this project taught me a lot about Flask, frontend layout, and how to turn something very backend-heavy into a clean, shareable demo. Shipping it now feels scary but exciting
