I’ve been working on a fully functional and useful cryptographic ID page for my website, entirely generated given my GPG key ID. It downloads the key from the main GPG keyserver and the entire UI is generated from that. I also added a bunch of nice features, such as being able to encrypt and validate signatures directly in my site, without the need to download the pgp file. The UI is still highly WIP, and I still need to add the ability to be able to download the final data after validation.

Ok so I’ve mostly been using my system, fixing misc bugs. There’s now: EasyEffects for my autoeq setup on my headphones, a comical amount of nix-ld setup for rhythm doctor to work in it’s windowed mode (shown in the screenshot, it only works on gnome rn), and a basic niri session going (it’s too barebones to show, but it’s usable and I use it whenever I’m not playing games lol). Next up: actually ricing niri with quickshell. Gonna be fun trying out qt after about 3 years of gtk experience.

After a lot of debugging and confusing nix stuff, I now have apollo working on nixos! I much prefer it compared to sunshine because of the permission system. I’ll figure out how to get a virtual display working eventually…

Got a basic system running with den, nixos, flake-parts and a lot of small modules. I will say, I do not like bash scripting. I got AI to generate an update script for my custom apollo (sunshine/game streaming fork) package which somehow worked first try. The rest of the stuff is mine though. I forgot how cursed it is to use nix.
