I spend a lot of time for the setup of JavaFX and the gradle project because I haven’t really used both before.
After that I spend a lot of time on setting up the software to have very basic functions as adding new entries which I later enhanced (picture 2). Then I added the “View Data” Tab (picture 3).
Last thing I added to the software was the support of different languages (right now just English and German) which can be changed in the “settings” tab (picture 4).
To make sure that you don’t accidently delete or discard an entry, I made alerts (picture 5 and 6).
Additionally, I made sure that the “add” page does not allow wrong inputs as you can see on picture 7.
To round everything off, I designed a logo myself for this software (picture 8).
In total, I assume I spent more than 15 hours on the project already, but sadly the time tracker does not count the time which I spend inside the scene builder for JavaFX fxml. I didn’t even count the time researching and branding. But I’m still very happy how my project turned out.
I have some more features which I will add before I’ll take care of the awful design (sorry guys).
