started learning javascript and node.js in specific (in hindsight i probably should’ve started with something smaller instead of jumping straight into making a discord bot (but then again there was a workshop on how to make one and w3schools exists sooo)
right now the code is pretty bare bones, just a simple rank command which SHOULD: (all of this is in theory i haven’t had a chance to test my code because it constantly needs to be running in order to work) get the name of a specific contestant, add them to a contestant database if they aren’t already in it, and get their ranking for their entry. however, making it seemed a little too easy, so i’m probably going to have to go back and fix something later. all in all. pretty basic day one.
