i spent quite a bit figuring out tf was wrong with my code but i only now realised im taking the random float from an analog pin in use (a0 💀) so yea i changed that out and i added a millis for even more randomness and yeah we’re fixed! different combos every time!

added an excess deny and added timeout of 5s. however i noticed that its not rabdom and repeats the same few sequences so imma try and get that fixed

added buzzer sounds for correct and wrong! when you get the button wrong the blaaaap tone plays instead of the key tone! im planning to add a timeout (so the guy doesnt write down or spend too long thinking) and excess deny (so guy doesnt spam stuff)

thought of the idea, designed hardware, and wrote code. however, the code is buggy (sometimes it double presses and sometines the tone doesnt play). there is still room for improvement i think and ill work on it more, maybe add like a buzzer sound when you get the combination correct and a sound when you get it wrong.
