okayyy we doneee!!! i overhauled bad guys ai code AGAIN and now its actually scary it chases you instead of just walking around like a goon! i also put it in a repo and redid sound work.

i completely gave up on bad guy pathfinding and used a different way of making them chase you, also completely rebranded game, redesigned ui, and continued work on ending, im almost done

added scary scary bois and worked on their behaviour but there must be something wrong with what im doing because they drop my frames to 1 frame per special occasion and its either that or the project tweaks out and crashes

couldnt get 10 band eq to cooperate no matter what, decided to revert back to a 5 band eq rhat works. also removed preamp and final out cos lazy to code.

IM DONEEEE! i spent unreasonably long trying to get the progress bar to work (thought it was a progress bar calc error, it turned out to be a custom char error, i didnt even look at the top of my code) but its finally done and im happy with how it turned out!
I FIXED IT the problem was i didnt define my chars properly!!! (typo) omfd im gonna kms

i played around with different progress bars, but encountered a bug that makes the depletion uneven. the progress bar is made of custom chars that are 5x8, 4x8, 3x8, 2x8 1x8, 0x8. however, it depletes unevenly at 5, 4, 2, 1. i tried so many methods of fixing this bug but i cant im literally going insane if someone can help pls do omfd
