I tested a lot of models to fix the issue of slow GPT 5 mini responses
These include
- Mistral 3 Large
- Mistral Medium
- Mistral Small
- GPT 5 Nano
- Gemini 3 flash
- Gemini 2.5 flash
- Gemini 2.0 flash
But I have decided to use GPT 5.1
I know it’s costly(look at the pic for the price), but it was worth it.
Now the questions generate really fast.
Just don’t abuse the model(pls)

This project is a quiz that uses AI to generate questions and fact check answers to those questions. It uses a long system prompt to make sure that the quiz goes smoothly
I am planning to update this later but it’s already a pretty nice project. I am planning to add question customization so that the user can decide what type of questions the AI asks them.
Well, I made the UI 10000x better, and I tried using a faster model(mistral small or large), but failed because it wouldn’t follow the prompts properly

So, this is the start! I gave the AI custom instructions and stuff and hopefully it goes well. I polished it and soon ill add difficulties and give you more control over what questions the AI asks you. it uses gpt 5 mini btw. PLS DONT ABOOZE IT
