BBE = B.A.(Hons) Business Economics , UOD = University of Delhi (#1 University of India, atleast officially)

This course is really analytical, and in my opinion deserves more recognition. So I am building this project for that awareness for this course.

To give the course BBE in UOD, a better stand point to receive the recognition it deserves, in comparison to other traditional courses in UOD because of traditional colleges. I decided to fix this dilemma with 2 birds 1 stone. I will create a platform for all BBE students (forum based). By making a place to pool all the resources and use as the base for attracting real users to my website.

CONTEXT: I WILL continue this project just not post about it on hackclub
Beta v1.0 Update(my final devlog for my first ever project that I finish NOT IN VAIN):
Things worked on in this update:
-> Some touch ups in the footer of my website
-> MADE all OTHER pages i.e, other than my functionality page, filled with some text
-> Tried to make the components work across devices

Things for the future that you will not see, but I will work on (please don’t vote me harsh its my first ever website project):
-> A modern UI from scratch (I will be learning modern web dev and make this website again)
-> A breadcrumb WORKING navigation (the one you see doesn’t work yet)
-> Discord & Reddit communities; which I need to learn to make do with discord bots and mod roles on reddit

Final note: I hope this gets approved

‘wow final update, will miss these 4th wall break comments, also very bad UI but i’ll let it slide since it is your first website project’

Analysis Functionality Completion Update(very bad UI, needs work):
CONTEXT: I used AI JUST TO FORMAT the data and copy-pasted manually (please vote in respect to that)
Things worked on in this update:

  1. Actual functionality of this page
  2. Added all the SEMESTERS & all the subject’s syllabus view to the cascading list
  3. Changed the logo so it’s color is similar to the text color, before it was constant

Upcoming updates:
The only main thing I need for the new update before I can ship this project is GRIDS
Adding grids to each page with each question answered

Let’s see if I can

‘wow good functionality but very bad UI’

Ramansh

Analysis Page Update:
One of the core functionalities of this project was worked on by me in this devlog.
Now the UI is very bad, I have a vision overall what I want it to be like.
What is the functionality?:
-> A series of cascading dropdowns CONNECTED to each other (with JS)
-> Leading to filter of ‘course->semester->subject’

Now what is this functionality connected to:
-> A div where I can show things about that subject leading to full information and how to attend that subject’s paper

Coming soon(hopefully):

  1. A grid layout for each page (Writing the content in them with some photos and gradient styling)
  2. Writing every content in EACH subject & performing analysis

‘wow good functionality but bad UI & very slow pace’

Ramansh

Footer update:
Things completed and implemented:

Made my FIRST ever responsive footer:

  1. Laid out my website on the footer
  2. Made it wrap when device width is small
  3. Added logos for referral links to communities in the future
  4. Made a copyright section
  5. Added it to everypage

Things for future update: (coming soon hopefully)
Start working ASAP on my core of the website
-> Now I just have to figure out some core functionalities of my project
Which includes:
A dropdown menu which corelates to a filter by which you can access
course>semester>paper in one go and see the details which I want to add in it

Navigation bar update:
Things completed and implemented:

  1. Picked a color palette for my website
  2. Picked fonts for my website (Young serif for headings and Bitter for text)
  3. Made my FIRST ever navigation bar

Things done in my navigation bar:

  1. All the pages attached ofc
  2. Dark mode toggle (which doesn’t change when refreshed)
  3. Search bar
  4. Side menu when the screen is too short (mobile etc)

Things for future update: (coming soon hopefully)

  1. Adding my navigation bar to every page
  2. Cleaning up every page
  3. Making a footer (adding that to every page)
  4. Start working ASAP on my core of the website

I built a frame for my student leadership project, and revived an initiative by using my ability to quickly grasp things. Learnt things from scratch and aim to not stop here at all.

Ramansh

After a good amount of time spent introspecting what I want in my website, and using my imagination for it. What have I done in these 7h 4m of work: (NO AI USED)

  1. Spent time learning html/css for my website and playing around it with any way can. My “text area” is also included in this demo.
  2. Basically a framework of what I want do at every page and how I will try to achieve those functionality tools

What I aim to do now after this:

  1. Keep adding all the functionality I need as I move forward.
  2. Try to form a good UI so it works as needed.
