I created a financial dashboard to track income and expenses. You can add transactions, custom categories, select currencies, and save data after logging in. The app is responsive and allows you to view charts, search transactions, and export a basic PDF. I’d like to improve the PDF export feature, which is currently very basic.
I’ve finished tweaking the app, added a settings section that now has the ability to change currency, and fixed some responsiveness problems.

I’ve made a lot of improvements, including updating the navbar to switch between guest mode and login mode, adding a drop-down menu, and making other improvements to make the app more responsive. I’ve also made sure that categories are saved, like transactions, based on login. I’ve also fixed several bugs that were causing issues with saving and deleting data.

I created a web app to record expenses and earnings with the ability to view the data in graphs, filter them, export PDFs and save your data by registering. It was very difficult, especially because it was my first time working with the backend.
I’m trying to create an authentication system to save data and not just use localStorage, but it’s harder than I thought. So far, I’ve created the registration and login authentication system. I’m trying to manage a guest mode and a registration mode. For now, after registering and using your personal space, you have to log out, otherwise your data will be displayed even in guest mode. I need to submit the project for the lockin side quest, but I’ll continue to make everything as functional as possible.

I built a financial dashboard that allows you to track income and expenses, organize transactions by category, and display income/expenses via graphs. The most challenging part was synchronizing transactions, categories, and settings with localStorage, while maintaining the displayed dataupdated. I’m happy with how it turned out because I did something different from what I’ve always done, and I learned a lot of new things with React.
I improved the design, for example, by rearranging the buttons and transaction elements to improve the user interface. I added alert messages and default categories to simplify the tracker’s first use (It is no longer necessary to add the category before trying to add the transaction).
I used React Router to connect a page with all the transactions. In the new page, I added a series of features, such as the ability to sort transactions from most recent to oldest and vice versa, the ability to delete all transactions at once, and the ability to search and filter transactions. I also added the ability to download a PDF of the filtered transactions.
