I built a financial dashboard that allows you to track income and expenses, organize transactions by category, and display income/expenses via graphs. The most challenging part was synchronizing transactions, categories, and settings with localStorage, while maintaining the displayed dataupdated. I’m happy with how it turned out because I did something different from what I’ve always done, and I learned a lot of new things with React.
I improved the design, for example, by rearranging the buttons and transaction elements to improve the user interface. I added alert messages and default categories to simplify the tracker’s first use (It is no longer necessary to add the category before trying to add the transaction).
I used React Router to connect a page with all the transactions. In the new page, I added a series of features, such as the ability to sort transactions from most recent to oldest and vice versa, the ability to delete all transactions at once, and the ability to search and filter transactions. I also added the ability to download a PDF of the filtered transactions.

I added the ability to edit categories and choose their colors for the charts and the navbar, I finished the web application, making it quite responsive and improving the design
