Started working on the base, i’m planning on making a planetary gearbox driven by either a stepper or servo motor, and this is what I have so far.

Finished the basic integration of the arm, now its time to do the base. The model I found online, did come with a base but its kind of inefficient and I think its incomplete, so I’m gonna have to CAD my own from scratch. I do also have to CAD the hand of the arm, but I want to fully build and code the main arm part first, then I’ll find the optimal hand design and CAD it.

First Devlog!
Worked a little bit on the CAD for this project. I found this 3D model of a robot arm that uses steppers and servos combined, but I need to edit the design a little bit to make it work.

The servos I’m using are different than what is used in the model, but shouldn’t be too hard to make it compatible. (Not much to show in the pic, still have some work to do before you can tell its a robot arm lol )
