In this new version, I’ve added new commands such as filter commands and sound effects (something some voice actors have been asking for!). If you want more details, and documentation for some functions/update notes, it’s all available in the readme!

brunodevdrums

I’ve finished updating my terminal. I’ve added some things that some of you requested, such as playing sound effects in some commands, and I’ve added filter commands. Now you can customize your terminal even further. For more details, check out my readme for complete documentation!

I’m adding a new variety of commands, including filters such as: “brightness”, “invert”, “contrast”, “sepia”, “grayscale”, “hue-rotate”. If you have any questions about how it works, well… to apply the desired filters, just type the command for your filter and then type ‘update_filters’, to remove, just type: ‘remove_filters’. And I’m also adding new links to the ‘open’ command.

Right now I’m adding new commands to my terminal, adding links that redirect the user to other pages, and I’ve learned how to open new tabs using JavaScript!

I listened to the feedback and tried to implement a few more things, plus I also added 3 different game modes! More information is available in the readme!

brunodevdrums

I just implemented a secret in my game that when you perform an action X times, you gain 15 lives!

I just implemented a system that ends the game when you lose lives (which are different for each level), and a display of your remaining lives also appears! I fixed a few things.

Right now, I’ve seen your feedback and I’m trying to implement your recommendations. In addition, I’m introducing a system with 3 game modes!

Introducing My Terminal with a few more commands! If you want to see the new commands, how each function works, or if you have any questions about a command, don’t hesitate to check out my readme!

As some requested, I’ve also added a history to the terminal; to navigate it, simply use the arrow keys on your keyboard!

This time I learned how to manipulate user input, specifically with .startsWith() and .endsWith().

I’m happy with what I’ve learned doing this project!

I hope you like it :D

brunodevdrums

As some requested, I just implemented a command history. It works with the keyboard arrows, more specifically: ArrowDown and ArrowUp. To be honest, it was quite complex trying to understand how to manipulate the history the way I did, but… at least it worked! And I had to fix some bugs while doing it! And I’m currently working on a ‘debug’ command, so anyone can see what’s going on behind the scenes of the code! In addition, I also worked with commands like blur and unblur.

I’m working on more fun commands like rotate (which is the first command you can use however you want), just type something like rotate(85) and it rotates 85 degrees! You can choose the number now!

I added 2 new commands, 500_explode() and 500_uninstall_commands(), these commands were made for testing and seeing limits, but you can use them to see for yourself! And I changed the meow function to randomly change it like: meowwww or meowwwwwww (basically random length)

For the first time, I tried to recreate a web terminal. I only consider that it works with specific commands; to see which ones, type ‘commands’ and a list of them will appear. I hope you like it :)

brunodevdrums

I just added several commands! Some are even unusual, hehe. Hope you like them! It was a lot of work writing so much JS…

This is version 2 of my Portfolio!

Here’s what I changed:

  • Completely redid the UI
  • Added new fonts
  • Added a section with my most recent projects.

I’ll probably add more soon too!

You might notice this looks identical to my last ship attempt. This is because my previous ship got stuck in a “soft lock” due to a technical error in the system. I’m re-shipping now to make sure the work and hours are properly registered. Thanks for understanding!

I’ve finished my project, fixed bugs, and designed the UI. I’ll be adding more words soon! Any feedback is welcome, and if you’d like to see a specific feature, feel free to ask!

brunodevdrums

I’ve finished the first version of my project, just be warned that it still has very few words!

Working on the UI now 🛠️ if you find any bugs on the final project, please advise me! And i have been working on some details in JavaScript like the ‘Your Guesses’ and others to try not having any bugs!

I started by creating a function that is activated when the player clicks to try, and that automatically adds the “-”!

I created a project that displays random cat photos, and it was my first time working with JavaScript APIs. Expanding my JS knowledge was a great achievement! I hope you enjoy my project!

brunodevdrums

I just finished my project that displays random cat images! I used an API for it (I learned how to work with one in JavaScript for the first time), and it was a great achievement, expanding my JavaScript knowledge.

I’ve updated my project to version 2.

I listened to your feedback and here’s what I did:

  • I programmed it to not show repeated excuses.
  • I added more excuses.
  • I improved the UI, remodeled practically everything, and added a new font.
  • I fixed 1 typographical error.

I hope you like version 2 of my project. Any feedback is welcome.

brunodevdrums

Finishing everything up and ready to send.

Here’s what I did:

  • Added more excuses
  • Completely changed the UI
  • Fixed 1 typo
  • Added a system that prevents showing a repeated excuse
  • Added random colors for questions in the History

I hope you like the changes.

Remember, this will be version 2 of this project.

I’ll use your feedback; there won’t be any more repeated excuses. And I improved the UI; although some jokes are tech-themed, the UI resembles a green school whiteboard.

I used the feedback I received to improve my web game. I hope the feature that counts your attempts is cool (as some of you requested), and I also improved the UI to look more like a pixelated game. I also added the option to press ‘Enter’ instead of the ‘Try!’ button while typing the number. I hope these changes make version 2 of my project even better, thank you!

brunodevdrums

I’m currently working on a tries tracker, as many of you requested, and also as one voter asked, to make the “enter” key work instead of just clicking the “Try” button. I’ll also see what I can do to improve the UI. Thank you for the feedback, I hope I can make this project better. Thank you!

I created “Excuse Generator For teachers” just to make someone to laugh! I relearned the basics of arrays in JS (I hadn’t done it in a while), and I also learned how to manipulate the DOM by adding jokes to the History. I’m happy the code went as planned.

So, I make a webpage that is a ‘Guess The number’! You just need to try guess the number (you don’y have tries left). If you guess it correctly you go to a win page. For me, it was challenging to make the logic work correctly with the web, and i’m pround for making this project, i think i am expand my knowledg every time i code.

brunodevdrums

So, i just finished creating my Guess the Number Website!

First, click/tap on the start button, then the page is going to keep asking you what is your guess until you guess the secret Random Generated number!
The number goes from 0 to 100.
If you guess the number correctly, the page shows you a win screen, that you can play again if you want to.
