I built this time tracker (for my boyfriend) and it is supposed to be like a gamified? or reward system to motivate him to studyy more often! this was like a client-based program and something that was challenging was consistently matching the UI desires he wanted. I am really proud of the final product including the art I made!!
really sorry i didnt track my devlogs and that so much got out of hand
first 10 hours: setting up the timer and the format for the form popup to submit hours!! also working on the sidebar as well as the svg waves (thank you codepen, but i drew those myself after !!!) logo and cursor were both hand drawn and implemented at this time !!!
20 hours: making the hours from the timer actually connect and be used when buying stuff from the shop! also figuring out shop stufff and deleting shop items after buying them. the courses filter!! popups for deleting things instead of instantly deleting them,,,,
30 hours (final stretch): this was all my homepage !! and thank you for ur help claude, this was also polishing some smaller things like the appearances of the buttons, rounding out my border-radius’, etc. maybe again testing my time on the timer… and also adding the non-redeemable TIME vs the redeemable hours if someone wants to monitor the EXACT time they spent..

march 1st-march 8th:
first added the search bar via w3schools (hail w3schools omg) and played around with format primarily!! learnt html, css and js kinda mucking around with this. got a list of recipes and respective attatched variables to appear on seperate divs !! added fully functional homepage buttons and tags/filter system. added a new ttf font for the whole project, making the homepage setup look nicer…
2nd half of hours
march8th-march 16th: moving around tags took a lot of priority, i dont have any photos with the same layout due to my teammate changing the colors for something else?? but the blue image is the working tag system, i made the search bar more user friendly, opting so hitting the enter key also uses the search() function. added functional header that was fixed when scrolling because that was something part of our goals. added the recipe area in which the instructions were detailed. updated cursor and added a print button !!@

again, voice acting and art isn’t really counted here right now unfortunately, but i spent like 5-6 hours on it ! it was an overnight hackathon to be fair….
