A real life miniature defqon stage editor.
Web version doesnt support saving/loading!!!
To use full functionality use desktop version!!!
To use, select preset, create a track on the timeline and click on the timeline to add an effect.
I’ve used copilot for code completion and chatgpt for debugging
Introduced a new ProjectManager system for creating, saving, and loading Defqon projects, including events, presets, and audio file paths.
Added popups and updated the UI for project/preset workflows.
Refactored waveform rendering for performance and scalability.
Updated serialization for projects and presets, replaced old audio and preset management, and cleaned up the scene hierarchy and obsolete UI elements.
Added URP post-processing and improved file dialog integration.
Added integration for smoke rendering and timeline usage.

Updated the readme of the project to further explain how everything works and added a demo link to the project so it can be used from the itch.io website.

I made a defqon stage with a digital twin that can sync music and lights (and later on lasers and smoke effects) so that it can made in the editor then played in real life!
Made significant progress on the physical and software integration of the stage. Designed and prototyped a custom 3D-printed logo that will be mounted above the podium, serving as a key visual centerpiece of the setup. Implemented a communication layer between the physical stage hardware and the Unity editor, enabling real-time interaction. This allows the editor to directly control stage behavior, including triggering and synchronizing music playback, laying the groundwork for the light shows.

I’ve made a working light editor for the miniature defqon podium we have, currently i’ve got the lights working, saving and loading, the timeline and everything is synced based on music, i’ve made everything in unity
