AvoGuard is my first project on Hackclub :>. It’s a tiny open-source device I am building to tell when an avocado is actually ready to eat!.
Instead of squeezing /cutting it, AvoGuard checks the inside of Avocado using NIR Waves and gives a ripeness score. The goal is to catch that perfect window between unripe and overripe. Other than avocado-sensing application, the board can be used as a framework for similar usage, such as a wide range of material analysis! ♪(^∇^*)

Decided to use OPT101 for simplicity purposes, even though it’s a bit more expensive than BPW34 :p

Did some research and brainstormed the basic mechanisms. The sensor board will consists of a photodiode and 3 arrays of 3 different LEDS with different wavelengths. for the photodiode, iam thinking of using an OPT101 or a BPW34
