I built Dentro because I wanted a chill place to practice coding. It’s a quiz for JavaScript and Python, but instead of just getting a score, your progress actually grows a virtual plant. 🌱
I realized during this build that the small details matter the most. I spent a lot of time tweaking the sounds and animations to make the experience feel rewarding without being distracting. It was a great lesson in how to make an app feel ‘alive’ while keeping it simple.
Why this works:
“Chill place” sounds more human than “distraction-free environment.”
“Instead of just getting a score” makes the plant concept easier to visualize.
“Tweaking” sounds more authentic to the dev process than “refining.”
It uses “I realized” to introduce your learnings, which feels personal.
