It’s my take on a ‘Production-in-a-Box’ setup for developers who are tired of fighting with YAML. I’m integrating Backstage for the UI, PipeCD for the GitOps flow, and a custom ‘Stability Gate’ I’ve been tinkering with.
The goal? Making it so a dev can go from ‘code’ to ‘secured production’ in under 5 minutes without needing a PhD in K8s. Today I’m mostly wrestling with the OIDC integration and making sure the telemetry isn’t just a wall of noise. It’s a bit of a mess right now, but it’s my mess and it’s starting to breathe!
