I used Google Gemini as a technical assistant and pair-programmer. While I handled the hardware setup (repurposing a Celeron laptop as a home server), Docker orchestration, and core Laravel environment setup, the AI assisted me with English documentation refinement, technical troubleshooting for Nginx/Docker configurations, and Git best practices.

I’ve done the logic for registration. It took me a little while because I was learning laravel for make this. Now, I’m going to do the frontend :)

I’ve just finished setting up the infrastructure for my new project. Vanilla Store is a clean, modular e-commerce boilerplate designed to be easily customized. The most exciting part? I’m hosting the entire Docker stack on my repurposed Celeron home server. It’s a great feeling to see modern tools like Laravel and PHP 8.2 running smoothly on 10-year-old hardware!
