i’m making my version of flappy bird game

start of session at 2026/1/19 7:49 pm goals : settings menu , gltches fix , music and sounds control , custom music option , and maybe custom characters , sound effects for dying

and let’s get started

i forgot to log out that day but anywass i aded a slider control for music in the settings menu and fixed some glitches

this seesion i started around 2026/1/20 8:20 pm and no wit’s 1:33 am i added sfx for the dying and changed the way the game works tho it doesn’t work the way i want it yet how it used to work is whenever the player dies it reastarts but i wanted to add a gamever menu with buttons to go to main menu and restart the game and to play an animation for dying and sfx i added all of that and coded it it all works but im still having some problems with the order and some glitches like the music playing more than once and stacking or the game not stopping when the player dies and the game over menu somtimes doesn’t pop up so yah i basically added everything but it dosen’t work sometimes imma work on that next time done at 2026/1/21 1:36 am

this is the slider option and will add the other things next time when i fix them

started at 2026/1/10 10:14 pm i fixed some problems with the game like that sometimes it wouldn’t send the “die” signal and won’t k the plaey so i coluldn’t see the problem and uk what u do when udk what to do retype that thing and it will prob work and that’s waht i did and it worked then i changed the looks to look a bit better for now untill i start adding my own things to it done at 11:59 pm

starting work session 2026/1/11 at 11:09 pm i’ll start by adding bacground music and dying animation, some sfx and and maybe a menu if i got time cuz i got a chem final tmrr ahhhh and let’s get started i added the menu, play , settings , exit buttons + a settings scene + coded and conneceted everything + added bg music

started at 2026/1/8 11:40 pm i alr got the setup ready to work on days ago , now i just added the player and coded the plater part for now , it does fall when u start the game and speed go up to 200 and then get capped and the flap is space w up arrow left click and makes the player go up by 200 done player at 12:1 am

i’m done with the walls and the world scenes and linked them tgth added the reseter as this whole game is just based on visual illusions u think that the bird is flying to the right side of the screen and dodging the walls but what actually happening that the bird is just falling on the y axis and the x axis doen’t change at all and the walls are the moving parts as they move from right to left and then when they get out of the screen they touch an eara that sends a signal to delete the wall and respawn it in the same place as the beginning with random y axis from a specific range so for my game i used only 5 walls but it will show as that infinite number of walls are on the right of the screen and that the bird flying towards them lol game

i added the points sys had some problems with getting it to actually work to find out that i misspelled the area name omd and then i added the “dying” part so now when the player toutches the walls the game resets and that’s for now that’s the base of the game and i’ll start adjusting andd adding other features on the next session see ya all next time game2 session done at 2026/1/9 1:53 am worked for 2.22 hours coded for 1 hour 13 munites (hacktime)
