A music analysis tool that uses the Gemini Flash model to evaluate songs for Islamic acceptability by analyzing lyrics sourced from multiple platforms, including LRCLIB and netease. Compares it against five proclaimed categories laid out by scholars.
It works!!
My first ever project that is functional and ship-ready. Though it is as accurate as the gemini model is and should not be taken as the definitive truth.
I learnt to interact with API’s and how the frontend is connected to the backend.
the coolest part was how seamless it was to just deploy the project to heroku with one click from github
It is up and deployed.
Though the backend is a bit rough around the edges, it is still the best project i have ever made.
I created tye frontend using react, the backend ( the processing) was plain python and uses gemini api to analyze tye lyrics and then flask creates an api for the backend that the react app can use

I am super proud on the progress, the backend has almost been perfected, only the frontend is left to work on.
the gemini analyser works as intended, takes in a prompt and gives data back.
file managment is super minimal and efficient.
orchestrator is minimal.
lyrics fetching ehh, as good as can be.

working the lyrics fetching part, and 2 of the sources work now, what’s left is to add a few more sources and compile all of the data and then I;ll be done with fetching

The chef won’t stop bugging me to order stickers to view the shop, and to do that i need to post a devlog.
Anyways, this is a music analyser, which uses gemini’s api and pretends to be an islamic scholar and approves any song as acceptable or too profane based on some pre requisites.
