I’m making a website that helps you play the game Imposter, which is like a game where one person is selected to be the imposter, and they dont get the word but everyone else gets the word so you need to find who the imposter is and the imposter tries to blend in.

Custom Categories!
this was a feature i really wanted since all the other apps that help you play imposter either doesnt have custom catagories or make you pay for them which is kind of annoying so i implemented custom catagories, this kinda took a while to make but i think it ended up okay, still a few more final bugs to fix but overall the bulk of the features are implemented

quick update worked on the seo and favicon final changes and then i should ship or i am probably going to work on custom catagories but this is pretty much finished

Added Reveal Imposter page, it has a cool animation and it shows the word that it was there, i also worked on the word list, and a few other quality of life tweaks to make the project better. I think that this project is basically complete, but i would like to add a few more fetures like custom word lists, batter card ui, and maybe something else oh and i also need to redo the seo and stuff but its playable right now.

Worked on the game screen where you tap your name so you can see your card, looks good in my opinion i kind of like it, it brings you to the game card that i made earlier, just need to work on a good animation or something for the reveal imposter button and what that does.

kind of a small update but i made the settings that you set save after ever game since it kindm of annoying if you set a specific settign and then after it gets removed, same thing with players and caragories and imposter count, i also worked on a few errors and warnings to make it feel like better on my side, i also make the code to match the imposter to the name so i can get ready to implement the actual game and revealing page

I worked on the actual card that displays the text this was kinda hard since it had like 2 different cards and i made it so that it switches the card when you hover over it so its supposed to me like myserious or something and i like the way it ended up turning out.

I got the actual fields working and saving with js and the categories all made and listed, i got a list of a bunch of words and catagories and i hope that is enough, i am planning on adding custom word lists, possibly in the future, and tmr i am going to start working on the actual game and the revealing of cards.

I started working on the actual game playing screens, for now im just workign on the frontend and the looks of the page, i have the buttons and elements down for the settings, tmr im going to work on the actual functionality and what happens when you change the settings, ect.
