As a fan of F1 and a occasional biker I thought why not combine the two and make something that can improve safety while looking cool and being functional.
I wanted to make a bike break light inspired by the old F1 rain lights- the end goal is to use an accelerometer to measure deceleration and adaptively adjust the rate of blinking to indicate my action to both bikers and cars. I have mocked up a grid for the LEDs so far trying to make it accurate to the original ones - 5mm Superbright Red LEDs should mean they work well both night and day.
