PuppyOS is a performance-stimulated project about that replicates the design and looks of a Linux and Ubuntu mix of software, but shows the complex variety of a windows operating system. All in all, it showcases multiple apps that allow you to do many things. These include the Notepad app, a Google app, a Calculator app, a settings app, and even an IP Helpdesk app. It’s also touchscreen! Feel free to try it yourself.

I built a webOS project that allows users to research and explore. The hardest part was implementing the apps, but the CSS made it quick and easy. Really happy with how it turned out 😁.

Updates Made since last Ship:

  • I added a settings app that allows users to change the brightness and contrast of their screens. It also allows them to choose their own background between 4 demo pictures or even paste the URL of another image for the background.
    -I added a splash screen that temporarily blurs the screen so that the user has to scroll/swipe (depending on touchscreen capabilities) to remove it for proffessional looks and purposes.
  • I changed the cursor’s look with an SVG file blue cursor.

I built a webOS project called PuppyOS that features many apps and allows users to research and explore without leaving their comfort zone. The hardest part was creating the UI with HTML, but I managed to pull it off with great CSS features! Overall, I’m really happy with how this project turned out!

I had a magnificent idea to create a WebOS project that allows users to research and explore! I worked on the UI for a really long time and I implemented many features in the Notepad, Google, Calculator, and even the IP Helpdesk app! Now, you don’t have to worry about constantly browsing to research, because PuppyOS is your answer!
