This is my Space invaders project. This space invaders game starts off like the OG space invaders for the first levels and as you play the graphics get better and there are more game mechanics unlocked.
I mean you have to beat the first 5 Levels …

This is my Space invaders project. This space invaders game starts off like the OG space invaders for the first levels and as you play the graphics get better and there are more game mechanics unlocked.
I mean you have to beat the first 5 Levels just to unlock the homepage :]

This project uses AI

i Used AI to learn pygame but nothing was copy paste it was all hand written by myself and most debugging i used stack overflow for help rather than ai

I Have complied everything into an exe so now everyone can enjoy my game :)))

I have fixed the exe issue , you can now play it without having to install python 😃😃😃

I Coded a Space invaders game with a twist, The more you progress the better the game gets !, I had to learn pygame and how to use git for the first time which took ages and I’m so happy that now I can write code at home on my PC, go to school and write code on my laptop and it all saves to my repository thanks to the power of git!!!! I spent as lot of time on this but i have been trying for hours and i cant get an exe or anything like that working. Sadly the only way to play my game is to install python. This is my first time ever coding a proper game in python and hopefully next time i can get an exe working

I have added the bunkers and aliens shooting back at you for levels 3+, level 4 doesn’t add any new features however level 5 will add a UI and a proper home page, I am still looking for the best way to save you progress so you can come back to it later.

Today I made the first 2 Levels and got the score counter to partially work. it counts your score but I haven’t yet figured out a way to show it on screen. There is a bug where if you shoot a red alien on level 2 the game crashes but level 1 works great :)) Below is what the aliens look like :]
