I built an AI powered Shell that translates English into Linux/ windows commands.
Sashell is an AI-powered Python shell that translates plain English into real commands, intelligently adapts across Windows and Linux, and adds a safety layer that blocks dangerous inputs while correcting mistakes. It retains full native shell capabilities—pipes, redirects, history, autocomplete, and reverse search—ensuring it remains as powerful as a traditional terminal. The system also includes an interactive AI chat mode with memory, multi-language support, and integrated TTS with fallback for offline use. On top of that, it delivers a personalized, expressive experience through themes, easter eggs, and built-in knowledge elements like curated quotes and terminal “fortunes.”
