Next I want to add an image as a background header to personalize myself more. I noticed in some of the inspirations included spacing between div elements, I think that is what they are called? So it is cool and I wanted to do the margin on the size as well. I managed to do it through margins!
I figured out how to make the box separate from the background through margins and putting all of my (header, body, main) elements as a child of the container element. For the background, I am going to use a simple gradient.
In addition I added a footer with placeholder text which is subject to change. Because I did this on a seperate html file, I forget that I have a repoistory so ig I’ll copy over my changes to my original index html file. I’ll just copy and paste it. The one with gradient background is the one I experimented as testing but now I like it lol
I used my own art for the header but it got cut off :(
Thanks to the tutorials that carried me through as a beginner! Coding has been fun with this :D

What I did was to troubleshoot some syncing problems to the GitHub and I finally found out, I was missing some crucial steps such as not staging and then pulling. Updated the contact to add my GitHub. More contacts will be coming soon I promise!
Some of the changes I plan to make is to overhaul the website to be more personalized. So I plan to make experiments with CSS stylizing and overhaul my information as they are placeholders for now! I am currently experimenting with another html file for testing purposes. Looking to take inspiration from independent websites! Through my research I am referring to more CSS tutorials since that’s what I’m mostly looking for to personalize my website. I want to be able to retain the elements I have right now, just it will look different.
This image below here is an experiment learning about CSS borders. I plan on making them next to each other with spacing in a grid-style.
That’s the reason why I have a bunch of hours because troubleshooting for some reason counted as coding when all I did was try to press commit button while at the same time making small changes.

I made a simple personal website with a navigation bar and multiple html files. I think the hardest part was trying to make the two columns. I think this was a fun project for a beginner like me.
Changes
-more text
-Added activites
-Added contact
-added projects
-Bullet points
-Renamed the header thing to each respective page.
I also added github repo today and researched how to host a static website.
What’s next?
-Maybe more contact info, such as social media or filling out a box type stuff.
-Images if I want to to show off my projects, like a blog post content.
Edit: I have a lot of hours but that’s because I attempted to rewrite the code for each webpage by hand (typing) so I can experiment and learn what each element does. Next time I’ll just copy and paste!

Attempted to add tabs but I didn’t like how it took up the entire page lol. Also added a main body content too.
Next work coming up will to hopefully add new webpages # and maybe a landing page!
