I am making a custom area that I am hoping I will be able to run locally. I will be the only person that it works with. I will be using the programming language python.
Features will include:
Speech and Speech Recognition.
Web Searching.
Project saving ( ask it about something to do with electronics and help and it can save it to a file under a project name ).
A connection to ESP home via an API key.

This project uses AI

I have used ChatGPT in this project to generate phrases needed for pre-programmed chats in the preprogrammed.json file. I have now also used chatgpt to help me understand html and css

This is my first project and first time using html and css
In this update I worked on:

  • The beginning of a website page ( as shown in image ) to have SPEC hosted on
  • Changed some code for the user input to remove question marks from inputs to make it easier for processing.

Up to this point I have done 3 hours of work on SPEC.
I have gotten done:

  • Basic Chatbot functions
  • Memory it saves information to when it doesn’t have an answer.
    NEXT steps:
  • Web Searching for answers
  • Speech Recognition
