The project began as an old experiment idk how many years ago, a simple flashcard tool with bare-bones CSS and no functional backend. The initial goal was to make it work by moving away from hardcoded data and implementing a proper mysql database. I started by making database schema that for cards, decks, study logs, and styling metadata.
Once the foundation was set, I moved to the ui. I opted for a neomorphic aesthetic overhauling all the css. Also added a live AJAX search and a list view toggle to give users different ways to manage their collections.
