My class is going to participate a “mapathon”. The goal is to map a maximum of houses for associations that will use these maps to locate peoples in need. I’m going to build a Chrome extension that detects workzone. It will analyze satellite tiles directly in the browser and detect the workzone.
Using the “Scan Zone” tool ensures that you are mapping strictly within the boundaries of your assigned task, preventing accidental edits in neighboring areas that other volunteers might be working on.
I will use AI to learn html, css and js, so the code might have AI in it.
