This app will help people switch to using Linux as their main operating system. It will suggest distros, find apps and utilities to use, and have guides on how to use different aspects of Linux.
I built a web app that helps people switch to Linux. Last time, it was only available as a desktop app which was inconvenient. However, this time I was able to export it to a web build that anyone can access on any computer. I learned a lot from this project.
Thank you everyone for voting! After my last ship, most of you suggested that I make LinuxConversionExpert into a web version, so I did. It’s available on https://lukaj274.github.io/LinuxConversionExpert/. I also added a few advanced distros to the list and divided it into 3 new ones by experience level.

I built an app that I am proud of to help people switch to Linux. It suggests software and distros for beginner, intermediate, and advanced users. It even has specific info for Macs! I learned a lot about making desktop apps during this project.
I added my new 2 favourite distros to the recommended list, Fedora and CachyOS. Previously only Ubuntu-based distros were on the list.

This is my project, Linux Conversion Expert. It’s an app to help people switch to Linux. I programmed it in C# (.NET) with Avalonia for GUI. It helps users find Linux distros, software, and installation guides. Since the last ship, I have added specific information for Mac users related to compatibility. I learned a lot about Avalonia’s features when I made this project.

I added three new pages. One shows recommended Linux distros, another shows recommended software for Linux, and another asks questions and will in a future update use AI to suggest distros based on these answers.
