Tilper AI is a learning platform that helps teenagers learn programming through interactive problem-solving and personalized mentorship. Think of it as having a patient coding tutor available 24/7.

This project uses AI

this was supposed to be a submission for the replit hackathon, so i used replit to make the initial version (but its really building anything other than mvps, and leaves a lot of technical dept)

Shipped this project!

i built a learning platform that uses ai to actually students learn instead of vibe coding, custom ide, full flexibility !

the original website went down after 50 users and capped api limits, but now i have switched to longterm alternatives.

originally meant to be another throwaway project in the replit hackathon.

but the head of apac really liked the idea as it was replits original misson to encorage people to learn without complex setups.

HENCE, i worked on it a lil bit more , kept what was working and polished it more.

squished some mega gnarly bugs,

first off, i fixed the chat box! the text kept trying to run away past the bottom border like it was escaping prison… bad text, you stay in your box!!

anyways, my brain is fried. (plz don’t eat me)

i built a brain for it, i hooked up the AI mentor chat thingy so now you can literally talk to it while you code! LMAO, atleast you don’t need to switch tabs to talks with chatgpt ig!

it was super glitchy at first…

it kept spitting out huge chunks of text that looked like alien math.

added a sparkly icon because we like shiny things over here.

the bot is actually pretty smart, definitely smarter than me.

this project mostly just me throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.

but at one point the background was white ?!
my eyes are still burning ngl

anyways, you can type words in it now, which is a big win for humanity.
