This is a text editor made in tauri which combines html css and javascript with rust to make a desktop application. The reason im doing this is to learn and get better at rust!
Hey everyone! This will probably be my last devlog but i found out you can copy the vscode editor and add it into your projects so i made a copy of koda and made a seperate repo for it with the code editor!

Hello everyone! welcome to my new devlog XD i always say this at the start of a devlog but let me show you what i made! I created a working directory tree with the ability to go through directories and go back. You can also open files from the tree. Im starting to get better at rust and im so proud of myself i can’t express how happy i am right now

Welcome to my devlog! I finally added 2 features which i wanted to add really badly! First of all i added markdown support as you can see in the image! I have to be honest i used ai to help me with regex because it seemed hard and time consuming but i did rest myself. And second of all i added a zoom feature so you can zoom in and out to text to read it more clearly!

Welcome to my devlog everyone! As you can see i added a top bar with 3
options. Now you can open save and save files as! this took a long time to get working but im super proud of myself! While writing my devlog i came across a bug and thats visible in the image. If you keep typing and don’t press enter a line number doesnt appear so i have to fix that.
