A web-based OS built with React and Next.js, with minimalism in mind.
I used AI for debugging, and the window-resizing feature.
I built a WebOS! It wasn’t my first time doing something like this, but definitely my first time focusing heavily on the visuals, the minimalism, and the animations. I learned how to manage different windows, how to replicate core functionality that you see in operating systems, but for the web.

I ADDED MULTIPLE APPS
notepad, clock, calculator, and about (kinda underwhelming but the functionality took time)
also added window-resizing, and better window management

I added my first app / window! It’s a simple about page for now but I’ll be adding multiple other apps in the next devlog

I made a dock! I tried to make it different from MacOS and Windows and i’d say it’s pretty different (you should see the animation), anyway, I’m doing windows management and animations next

I’m currently following the ‘Web-OS’ guide by Hackclub, and I built a welcome page for my OS, that I’m calling core9! I’m probably gonna implement the dock next :D
