Shipped this project!
I made a website for my robotics team. I tried using Next.js which was new for me but I had some sample code and tutorials pulled up so it wasn’t too difficult. The most difficult part might actually have been trying to get npm to install correctly. It was kind of difficult to get the header working right and I still have things I want to add and change about it. I also tried to get a 3d model of our robot CAD on the website but I couldn’t get it to work and our CAD is not complete so I gave up and I will try again later.
- Add basic content/content placeholders: team intro, members, sponsors
- Added header + footer
Next steps:
- put in full content
- add 3d robot using three.js (like hivemind website)
- add favicon and logo to header
- cool background effects using canvas
