I build a OS-like web portfolio (kind of) . It was a bit hard to make the script for the windows even if I used the HackClub jam WebOS tutorial but it was worth the effort. I love how it turned out and I think I will update it more or maybe remake it in the future :)
Added a 404 page and also added app names from the bottom bar under the logo. Also I made a simple logo for the website.

Added a new app “About Me” and added icons for the apps including the log out button. Also fixed a bug (kind of).

a little fix: on hovering over the background images in setting, the cursor isn’t a pointer.
Your site is nice!
Added a login page with a warning, added logout button on bottom bar, added don’t show on boot again for the warning and for the welcome app and added a boot sound when you log in.

I fixed the dragging javascript, here was a bit of AI help because it would not work when I tried fixing it. I added links app and settings app(here you can change the background) and a placeholder background

I made the basics by following the WebOS HackClub Jam tutorial but I needed to modify the JavaScript a little bit with a little help from ChatGPT because i had a few bugs that i couldn’t fix. Now I have 1 welcome app that works :) . I will later work on more apps and maybe making an icon for the website.
