Conspiracy generator terminal

A fun, front-end terminal that generates completely random (and totally fictional) conspiracy theories, with subtle progression mechanics and interactive commands.

This project uses AI

Used chatgpt and gemini for debugging and fixes, as well as some UI improvements (like the starfield) but I manually handled the state-based progression logic and built the terminal interface to fit the vibes accordingly.

I built a browser-based terminal interface that generates completely random (and fictional) conspiracy theories using structured word arrays in JavaScript.
The most challenging part was designing and implementing the ascension animation, especially making it feel smooth, intentional, and integrated with the terminal rather than just a random pop-up overlay.
I’m proud of how I refined the ascension animation to feel more lively and aligned with the exact experience I wanted to create.

Added a new command called “ascend” which lets you trigger a cool animation. to end this, hit ESC on your keyboard, and for mobile/tab users, click anywhere on the screen.
